Calendula and Cress at Junior Herbalist Club

Today at Junior Herbalist Club we learnt all about the magical healing properties of Marigold petals (Calendula) and planted 150 Calendula seeds! We can’t wait to see all our beautiful sunshine flowers grow over the coming weeks, and eventually be planted out at our fantastic park.

We also learnt about the amazing health benefits of cress, and made some super little heart shaped miniature gardens. These should be ready to cut and eat next weekend.
